Owned and operated by Bill Winterberg, a life-long pinball enthusiast and experienced entrepreneur, Certified Fun Pinball maintains high-quality pinball machines for breweries and brewpubs, featuring the latest in technology, challenging gameplay, and family-friendly entertainment.
Prior to founding Certified Fun Pinball, Bill worked as a Software Engineer for the Hewlett-Packard Company and LeapFrog Toys, and then founded FPPad.com, a technology consulting and growth marketing firm to financial institutions. Bill obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2008 (get it? Certified Fun Pinball?!? 😉) and helped thousands of financial professionals implement technology that increases access to affordable financial advice for American households.

- Bill’s “holy grail” pinball machine is Twilight Zone, which was the first pinball machine he purchased in 2012. His highest 3-ball game score is 3,753,442,230.
- As of August 2025, Bill has recorded high scores on 267 pinball machines across 48 locations in the United States and Europe, and posts high scores regularly to the Pindigo app.
- Bill plays in the New England Pinball League (NEPL) and recently won 3rd Place, B Division during Season 33 and 10th Place, B Division during Season 34 in 2025.
